Adult and Youth Learn to Skate
Learn to Skate is the foundation of our skating programming at The Garden Ice Arena. Everyone who wishes to play hockey or figure skate needs to start with this class. We are a member of Learn to Skate USA and all skaters need to be registered with The Garden Skating Academy ($25 yearly fee).
This program includes:
***Children must be five and older to participate in Youth Learn to Skate

This program includes:
- 30 min on ice practice session
- 30 min lesson with skating instructor
- Emphasis on basic skating skills: standing, gliding, turns, stops, etc
- A snug fitting bike, ski, or hockey helmet.
- Warm, waterproof gloves
- waterproof pants, or snowpants
- layered, warm clothing
