What are the Garden Junior Mitten Games?

The Garden Ice Arena and Men’s League Sweaters are proud to present the 5th Annual Draft Hockey Tournament, taking place July 31st - August 2nd, 2026. This event supports Mental Health Awareness, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Lory’s Place in St. Joseph, MI.

We are raising funds in memory of Derek Klobucher, a cherished hockey player and close friend of AJ and Becky Glowacki. Derek was a decorated Army veteran, awarded the Purple Heart, and a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Tragically, Derek died by suicide on May 27th, 2018, at the age of 36. His bright smile and even brighter heart are deeply missed by all who knew him.

Proceeds donated to Lory’s Place will directly support their adult and youth suicide loss groups. Sadly, the need for these bereavement services continues to grow as more families are affected by suicide. Together, we can help provide healing, support, and hope for those navigating unimaginable loss.
