Hockey has been at the heart of the Glowacki family for as long as we can remember. With seven kids in the family, the rink quickly became our second home—early mornings, late nights, and countless hours spent skating, cheering, and growing up around the game. When we moved to Michigan a year after Howard opened, we jumped right into the Southwest Michigan hockey community, and it immediately felt like home. Becky and I began building our own family, and hockey continued to be the constant that shaped our days and our values.

As life unfolded through different jobs and experiences, one thing became clear: I wanted to build something of my own and do work that truly mattered to me. The advice from countless experts echoed in my head—do something you love. For me, that love has always been hockey. So I asked myself, “How do I take what I’m passionate about—coaching, community, and the game that raised us—and build a life around it?” That question set everything in motion, blending family, passion, and purpose into the path we follow today.
