Synchronized skating

WHAT IS SYNCHRONIZED SKATING? Synchronized skating is a team sport in which 8-20 skaters skate together. It is
characterized by teamwork, speed, intricate formations and various step sequences.

WHAT ARE BENEFITS TO SYNCHRONIZED SKATING? Synchronized skating provides values and experiences that are
often missing from an individual sport: teamwork, social skills, being part of something bigger than yourself, responsibil-
ity, team spirit and lasting friendships. AND IT IS FUN!

WHY SYNCHRONIZED SKATING AT GIA? Garden Ice Arena’s Synchronized Skating is dedicated to empowering skaters
with confidence, commitment, and integrity by deeply valuing teamwork, self-esteem, and sportsmanship.
